We made an effort to associate with this audience by condemning cheeseburgers and including the city skyline in the back. Our main goal was to associate with people who hold steady office or similar types of jobs in the city. We included the city skyline in the background to help get this point across as well as the final comment regarding impressing one's boss by bringing sandwiches. This business obviously does not sell cheap sandwiches, so in order to appeal to those already seasoned by the fast food market, (pun intended), we decided to condemn cheeseburgers. This slamming of the competition is worthwhile because most of the sandwich market has been devoured by burger chains.

Next we used the city skyline as the background for the ad. The background is made up of a blue and white sky and a skyline of the city which is darker in comparison to the sky. The light color of the sky contrasts from the darkness of the city. This helps bring out the skyline and makes it more noticeable, since the restaurant is located downtown in the city. Next we used white lettering to bring the white background of the logo into the rest of the ad making it appear as if the logo belongs. The white lettering is a nice contrast to the darkness of the city making it stand out because the light colored lettering comes to the front as the dark city recedes to the back.

The writing that is below it is aligned to the left to go along with the border of the logo. The contrast is nice. When there is light background there are dark letters and when there is black background there is white lettering. We used the shadow feature so that when the lighter letters are on the lighter background, they still stand out. Everything is within proximty of each other. Repition is used, the same font is used thorugh all the text. We tried to find a font that matched the logo. We also tried to use all of the same colors. The primary colors used for were white, black, and blue. Overall I think that this would work nicely as a newspaper ad.

The logo has a worn in look to it that looks very urban, which goes with the city scene in the background. The text used for the rest of the ad is written in a text that is very easy to read. That is about the only contrast that we used in the ad. There is also a basic contrast between the color white of the text and the black of the background.
